I got myself new aquarell watercolors (White Nights, also known as Yarka) and wanted to test them on something. The "something" turned into quite a piece, I'd say, I'm very happy with the result. So far I think it's my best painting. I used some references for the fur pattern but the style I used messed it up.

A long-overdue commission for Poufy Werewolf, as left over from last summer. It's her werewolf character Brisco just after his monthly transformation. The photo hardly does justice to the actual painting, which I have to say, is an absolute gem. I wish I could have kept it. Board, 16x20"

Wow, this has been a long time waiting in being uploaded- these were designed as licensable characters for the risd student art sale back in October. From left to right: Kentrosaurus, Stygimoloch, Styracosaurus, Allosaurus, Camarasaurus, and Oviraptor. I tried to choose slightly more interesting dinoaurs than the usual fare seen on kids' merchandise (much as I love Stegos and Tyrannosaurs)... Yeah, I know Allosaurs aren't particularly obscure, but I like 'em. More of this to come in the future.

A long overdue pic for Abel and Caine because they're awesome. And Oni's just thrown into the middle. Have some closeups! It's a dark image, both in theme and colors. But I was having trouble finding a balance between something that looks dark on my screen but also light enough so people with darker screen settings don't just see black as there is quite a bit of detail..
